If you heard about a coffee festival in Brooklyn this fall, here is where it actually was. The NYC Coffee Festival ran Saturday, October 3, 2026, at The Post BK, 100 Dobbin Street, in Greenpoint, not in a Manhattan expo hall.^[1][2] It was a one-day tasting event in the warehouse blocks south of Greenpoint Avenue. It was not a ranked best-coffee list, and it is not Coffee Fest, the Javits industry show that uses a similar name.^[3]

The Post BK is a renovated warehouse used for athletics and events. Its own site lists the Greenpoint room at 100 Dobbin Street, Brooklyn, NY 11222.^[4] Average Socialite named the same building for this date. Do not mix it up with Dobbin St, a separate event space at 64 Dobbin Street. Ticket pages branded the day NYC Coffee Festival and noted it was previously listed as NYC Craft Coffee Festival.^[5] Craft Hospitality LLC was the organizer on Eventbrite. The thin official site is nyccoffeefest.com. Average Socialite pointed to @nyccoffeefest as the event account. Those were the listings that pinned the day, not a locked program book.

Hours on Eventbrite, Average Socialite, and Allevents agreed: Saturday, October 3, about 9am to 4:30pm. The official site named the date and 100 Dobbin St without spelling out hours. Tickets were sessioned, not one open floor from first pour to last. The 2026 listings showed a morning general-admission window around 10am to 1pm, an afternoon window around 1:30pm to 4:30pm, early access from 9am, and all-day passes. General-admission sessions started in the low thirties, with early-access and all-day options priced higher.^[6] Eventbrite marked the listing ended after October 3. Public copy talked about specialty roasters, coffee shops, snacks, and live entertainment. Nobody we can cite published a complete exhibitor roster before or after the show.

Dobbin Street sits on the warehouse side of Greenpoint, a short walk from Nassau Avenue on the G. That is the closest subway. Greenpoint Avenue on the same G is the next stop north, useful if you are coming from the G train coffee spine rather than from McCarren. Bedford Avenue on the L is a longer walk from the Williamsburg side of the park. Off the G, walk from Manhattan Avenue toward Dobbin. You do not need a car for this one. The festival sits on the southern, McCarren-adjacent end of Greenpoint, not on the Franklin waterfront strip. If a future edition comes back to The Post BK, the same day works: coffee near McCarren Park first, then walk north to Dobbin for your session.

None of the shops on our catalog were listed as festival exhibitors. They are the rooms you can actually walk to from Dobbin, festival or not. A close catalog stop is Cafe Grumpy at 193 Meserole Avenue, the original Greenpoint location, a short walk from Dobbin on the same grid.^[7] Variety Coffee Roasters at 142 Driggs Avenue sits toward McCarren, a table if you want to sit after the last session instead of getting back on the G. Those two are geography, not a ranking, and not a claim that either is pouring inside The Post BK. For the rest of the walk, use the Greenpoint hub rather than a thin top ten grafted onto an event page.

After the floor, if you still want a real cup in the neighborhood, start with the Greenpoint hub: rooms with in-house roast and origin in the cup, not a star list. Further north from Dobbin, Sweetleaf at 159 Freeman Street is a specialty bar on Freeman: pour-over and that room, not a festival booth. Pueblo Querido at 195 Greenpoint Avenue sits near the Greenpoint Avenue G. Confirm the door before you go; the hub already flags tenant chatter. Do not read those names as exhibitors.
