Plain version: nobody pays us to rank their shop, and we'll always tell you when a link could earn us a commission.
Editorial independence
Every coffee shop on Brooklyn Coffee Guide is here on its merits. We do not accept payment for inclusion, do not sell ranking positions, and do not run sponsored “picks.” If someone offers us money to feature their shop or move it up a list, the answer is no. How shops are actually chosen and ordered is spelled out in how we rank.
Affiliate links
We're building toward a small set of recommended coffee gear. When those recommendations go live, some links may be affiliate links — meaning if you buy through them, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. As required by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission, any such links will be clearly labelled, and a commission never buys a better review or a higher ranking. We recommend gear we'd actually use.
As of now, the guide runs no active affiliate links and earns no commissions. This page will be updated the moment that changes.
No third-party ads
We don't run display-ad networks. The reading experience isn't for sale either.
