Nitro cold brew is regular cold-brew concentrate pushed through a nitro tap (similar to a stout draft system). The nitrogen creates a cascading head of small, dense bubbles that smooth the texture and amplify perceived sweetness without any added sugar or cream. It became a staple of Brooklyn cafés in the mid-2010s and is now standard summer infrastructure at most specialty bars.
