The "magic" is a Melbourne café-culture drink that has filtered into a handful of Australian-influenced Brooklyn shops. It is built on a double ristretto (rather than a regular double shot) and finished to a 5 oz volume with tightly textured steamed milk, sweeter and more concentrated than a flat white because of the ristretto base. It is rarely on a printed menu but most baristas trained in the Australian style will make one if you ask.
