About Homecoming
Homecoming is a hybrid space on Franklin Street that combines a cafe, a flower shop, and a curated homeware store under one roof, and somehow each of those programs is genuinely good. The coffee bar serves beans from Sightglass, the well-respected San Francisco roaster, with a focus on single-origin drip and properly-pulled espresso. Matcha is sourced from Kettl, one of the highest-quality matcha importers in the U.S. The interior is one of the most photographed in Greenpoint: high ceilings, abundant plants, soft natural light, and design objects displayed throughout. There's a quiet backyard with seating that becomes prime real estate in warm weather. The whole shop has a calm, considered energy that makes it equally suited to a quick coffee, a long working session, or picking up a bouquet on the way home from work. Service is attentive, and the staff are notably knowledgeable about both the coffee and the goods on the shelves.
